This week has seen a flood of emails from spammers claiming to be from messagingPeople and requests that you update your accounts via the link provided. Clicking on the link will redirect you to some third party location where the phishing scam is attempted.

messagingPeople will never send you an email requesting to update your account details via a link provided. If you have any concerns then email support for assistance. When in doubt always close your email client and go to the messagingPeople website directly to log in.

Direct MMS allows you to send MMS via alternative methods which reduces the overall cost associated when sending MMS content.

Many users are sending photos to mobile phone which are extremely large in size. messagingPeople will now automatically scale down pictures for optimal use with mobile phones. In an addition to this - Sender ID is now attached to MMS when sent.

Mobile Sender ID is now enabled. Start sending personalised messages.
22/12/2008 : Long SMS (plain text or Unicode)
Send up to 760 plain text characters or 335 Unicode characters (i.e Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Arabic and other non-English characters). Long messages will be broken into several SMS messages and then concatenated automatically on the receiver's mobile phone as one single message.

Create your own QR-Codes and allow the contents to downloaded directly onto your mobile phone. All you need to do is take a photo of the QR-Codes with your mobile phone and allow your mobile to automatically decode the image.

MMS size has been increased to 300kB size. Pricing is even cheaper than before. Wider coverage now supported including USA (other countries previously not supported now is supported).

We support the following formats: MP3, MPG3, MPEG3, AC3, 3GP, 3GPP, 3GPP2, MPEG, MPG, MP4, MPG4, MPEG4, JAR, GIF, JPG, JPEG, JPE, BMP, PNG, TIF, TIFF, WMF, EMF, ICO, ICON, MID, MIDI, WAV, WAVE, VCARD, VCALANDAR and TXT formats.
