A QR-Code (Quick Response Code) is a special two dimensional bar code created by a Japanese company called Denso-Wave. The original purpose was to allow data to be stored in images and downloaded to appliances and mobiles (i.e mobile tagging).

Please note that the QR-Code is open in the sense that Denso-Wave have not exercised the patent rights. It should be noted that all QR-Codes generated are registered trademarks belonging to Denso-Wave.

Specify the level of error correction capacity to be included with the QR-Code (where Level L is 7% of code words can be restored, Level M is 15% of code words can be restored, Level Q is 25% of code words can be restored and Level H is 30% of code words can be restored). The more error correction capacity you include into the QR-Code the bigger the resulting image will appear.
